We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Truck Washer currently based in our Chino, CA facility.  The Truck Washer reports to the Assistant Supervisor, and is responsible for the washing and cleanliness, inside and out, of the company's fleet vehicles.

General Responsibilities

• Wash company vehicles (inside and out) which include: tractor trailers, cookout trucks, maintenance trucks, or support staff corporate vehicles
• Maintain and repair equipment such as hoses, hose reels, and fuel island pumps
• Pick-up parts for mechanics and assist with other department needs, including custodial needs in the Fleet Shop
• Assist with assigning Fuel Tender with logistics of truck assignments for the Warehouse and Delivery teams
• Coupling and uncoupling of tractor trailers
• Conduct post-inspection, which includes: lights, tires, belts, fluids, and the Geotab systems for write-ups
• Assist with offloading bread, empty crates, and pallets
• Train new associates to maneuver around the yard and day-to-day operations
• Answer department phone as needed

Work Schedule + Benefits

• Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
• Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Tuesday - Saturday
• Weekend and holiday availability required; Overtime as necessary

• Pay Range is $23.00-$25.00 per hour
• The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid California Driver's License
• Forklift certified (preferred)
• Prior experience with using pressure washer and shop vacuum
• Prior experience with steam cleaning the inside of trailers and tractor/reefer engines
• Basic knowledge of MS Office
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Dependable and reliable; excellent time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work with heavy machinery
• Experience using an electric riding pallet jack and hand-truck (preferred)
