We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Project Service Technician II based out of the Baldwin Park, CA area. The Project Service Technician II reports to a Service Supervisor and is responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of restaurant equipment, including cooking equipment, refrigeration units, heating and air conditioning systems, ice machines and other mechanical items.

General Responsibilities

Inspect, clean, descale and sanitize Ice Machines and drink stations
Inspect A/C filters, belts, blower assemblies, and clean refrigeration coils
Inspect kitchen equipment for wear/tear and proper operation
Inspect overall condition of roof and surrounding areas
Travel to Store locations throughout service area

Work Schedule + Benefits

Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
Schedule: Four (4) 10-hour shifts, including holidays and weekends
Hours: 1:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Occasional overnight travel (8-day runs when out-of-state)
Pay Range is $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Qualifications

EPA certification and HVAC certification; preferred
High School diploma required, some electrical coursework preferred
Minimum of one (1) year experience in refrigeration, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting and restaurant equipment repair; preferred
Intermediate knowledge of heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical
Ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment using hand and/or power tools and use of a voltmeter
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Valid CA Driver’s License; required
