We have an exciting opportunity for Oracle Finance Systems Consulting Manager at our Irvine, CA office. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Oracle Finance Systems Consulting Manager will be a key member of the Accounting team, responsible for overseeing the support of all Finance-related Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM modules, including GL, CM, Projects, ARCS, Accounting Hub, EDM, FCCS, PCM, S2P, and Indirect Procurement, as well as other finance systems.

In this role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders, applying your expertise across various project stages. You will lead a team responsible for support, testing, and implementation activities, including bug fixes, quarterly releases, enhancements, and new system projects. Additionally, you will act as a primary point of contact for our Managed Services vendor, ensuring effective oversight of their work.


Responsibilities
  • Leads the support of our Finance Oracle ERP modules, and other Finance systems.  Consult with key stakeholders to ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report and dashboard creation and analyzing workflows for process improvement opportunities.
  • Consult with our vertically integrated business units to develop end to end solutions that involve finance and accounting to support our evolving business needs.
  • Collaborates with third-party vendors and consultants to optimize the Finance ERP system performance, on defect remediation and troubleshooting system issues, and participates in leading scope/priority of ERP system enhancements, as necessary.  Works closely with IT and other IS teams to implement updates and enhancements.  Assists with vendor contracts and vendor management.
  • Hire, lead, coach, and motivate a team of Finance IS Analysts to meet system support needs.
  • Provide growth and training opportunities for direct reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and other IS teams, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones, managing project budgets and providing expert guidance to system teams.
  • Provide guidance on the strategy, design, implementation and maintenance of accounting systems. Leads the development and design of the accounting systems and relevant ERP modules.  Partner with IT, other IS teams, and subject matter experts to ensure optimal use of systems, integrations and business requirements.
  • Develop roadmap of enhancements, changes, improvements and continued system consolidations to further simplify finance operations.
  • Maintain awareness of current trends in accounting technology with a focus on product and service development, compliance and support.  Recommend process improvements, innovative solutions and ways to remain compliant with policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluates upgrades released by software vendors for assigned Finance ERP systems, collaborates with cross-functional IT teams, other IS teams, and users, and assists in testing and implementation of the upgrades.  Coordinate the review, testing and implementation of Finance system upgrades or changes. 
  • Represents In-N-Out Burger Finance and Accounting to Oracle and related user group communities to continually learn from peer organizations how to best leverage our investment in Oracle.
  • Leads a project manager to develop project plans and monitor accounting system initiatives.  
  • Assist with accounting team reporting and analytics needs.  Oversees the creation and maintenance of a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Maintains data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Collaborate with our accounting team leaders to develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train and develop team members on new processes/functionality and delegate the training of new system users.

  • Annual Pay Range is *$150,000 - $200,000 *represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors. 
  • Office hours: M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Some weekend and holiday availability required

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience, required.
  • Requires 7+ years of professional experience in finance system implementations or supporting ERP systems.
  • Prior experience managing the configuration of some of these modules: GL, CM, Projects, ARCS, Accounting Hub, EDM, FCCS, PCM, S2P, and Indirect Procurement.  Demonstrated knowledge of data and database methods and practices.
  • Proven track record of identifying and leading continuous improvement efforts.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.  Must be able to collaborate with users of all skill levels.
  • Experience with project management processes, techniques and methodologies.
  • Ability to work on-site, in our Irvine office.
  • Oracle certifications, preferred.
