We have an excellent opportunity for a Full-time Human Resources Generalist based in our Irvine, CA office*.  The Human Resources Generalist will report to a Regional Human Resources Manager in the Human Resources department.

*This role is based full time in office.

General Responsibilities
  • Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls from Store Associates, Store Management, Support Associates, and, occasionally, the General Public on a wide array of HR topics.
  • Provide a front-line resource for Associate Relation issues such as Associate complaints, allegations and various other complaints.
  • Responsible for writing a high volume of supporting documents to include corrective actions, memorandums, physician assessments, etc.
  • Schedules and conducts investigation meetings and interviews with current Associates as requested
  • Consistent follow-up with all Associate issues and concerns as assigned.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate Company policies, procedures, and guidelines to all Associates. 
  • Must be able to identify violations of Company policies, procedures, and guidelines swiftly and accurately.
  • Assists the HR Business Partner team by creating reports and collecting information to support investigations.
  • Supports the HR Business Partner team and other department leaders with projects and assignments as required.

Work Schedule + Benefits
  • Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
  • Office Hours in Irvine, CA: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.
  • Hourly Pay Range: $29.81 - $35.10
    • The above represents the expected hourly range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.
  • Department needs may call for occasional overtime

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or related field. HR Certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Human Resources with a broad exposure to HR activities. 
  • 2+ years of experience handling employee relations, investigating employee concerns, and advising on employment-related matters.
  • Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations and experience translating that knowledge into effective decisions when dealing with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; apply good judgment in decision making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and strong human relations skills.
  • Creative problem solving abilities and outstanding organizational skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency; Excellent in MS Office applications.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
