We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Event Technology Specialist I in our Irvine, CA office. The Event Technology Specialist will be part of the Incentive Trips & Travel Department at In-N-Out Burger, which plans events for In-N-Out Burger Associates. This person will report to the Events Support Lead.
General Responsibilities
- Provide event registration support for various departments at In-N-Out Burger. This includes assisting with building and testing attendee registration websites, surveys, emails, and other pre-event processes including reporting
- Lead on-site registration for events including training staff and volunteers.
- Setting up registration equipment
- Offering customer service and quick decisions for any attendee registration issues that may arise while on site.
- Support preparation and inventory of all equipment for events.
- Travel to event locations and lead registration set up, execution, and tear down.
- Asset management including inventory, maintaining equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with internal teams on their registration needs.

- Office hours in Irvine, CA: M-F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Pay Range is $61,400 - $76,800
- The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.
- Some weekend and holiday availability required
- Travel: 30% of the time will be spent onsite at events, and will require overnight and weekend travel
- In-N-Out Burger plans and operates events in the seven (8) states where we operate: California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Colorado, and Idaho.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience working with an Events team, as it relates to working with event technology, event software, and event registration systems
- Extensive knowledge of Cvent (Event Management software)
- Cvent event management certification a plus
- Knowledge in event registration or ticketing, web design, IT or coding is a plus.
- Able to work long hours and weekends when needed and accommodate last-minute or unforeseen travel changes.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service while proactively problem solving.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but will take software event management experience in lieu of a degree
- Excellent problem solving skills; strong ability to operate and problem solve under pressure
- Exceptional on-site event operation skills
- Highly motivated self-starter and ability to work independently
- Ability to analyze situations and make decisions with minimal oversight
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written, verbal and phone communication skills; communication with all levels of management
- Ability to work autonomously/independently, yet be an integral part of an overall team environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft office software, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
