We currently have a full time position available for an intermediate Electrician* in Baldwin Park, CA. The intermediate Electrician is responsible for the installation of electrical wiring and low voltage wiring for the In-N-Out Burger stores.  This position will report to the Electrical Supervisor. 

*Must have an Electrician Certification from the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).  

General Responsibilities

·         Have knowledge with tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure; Must have 5 or more years experience as an Electrician

·         Have knowledge of installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts, and repairing appliances

·         Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for the electrical systems

·         Install, inspect, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical systems and equipment for In-N-Out Burger

·         Add new, or relocate, existing switches and outlets; Pull wire and redirect circuits

·         Work safely around live electrical panels

·         Maintains company vehicle, tools, and supply inventory

·         Remove and replace light fixtures on a ladder 

·         Remove and replace receptacles per NEC requirements

·         Capable of safely turning off power to devices without shutting down the store

·         Observe all safety guidelines and maintain the cleanliness of work area 

·         Ensure that all electrical installations are accurate and serviceable

·         Confirm workmanship meets the requirements of applicable technical and safety standards

·         Arrange wiring, fixtures, and conduit boxes in preparation for installation of various alarm and electrical systems; Install wiring, conduit, and pipe

·         Perform trench work for in-ground installations

·         Demonstrates the ability to differentiate between 3 way and single pole switches

Work Schedule + Benefits

·         Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt) 

·         Pay Range for Intermediate level is $33.00 - $36.25 an hour
The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.

·         Shifts: 4, 10-hour shifts per week

·         Shifts: Rotating days - Schedule can be: Mon-Thur or Tue-Fri shift 

·         Hours: Graveyard shift: 12:00 am-10:30 am; overtime as needed

·         Home office in Baldwin Park, CA; Must live within 45 minutes of Baldwin Park

·         Will need to be on call for emergencies; must carry a cell phone at all times

Travel Schedule

·         Travel (driving) is required around Southern California

·         Company vehicle will be provided

·         Out-of-town Travel required: 50% travel will be outside of town or the state, including overnight hotel stays

·         Travel required to all 7 seven states were INO operates: CA, NV, OR, UT, TX, AZ, CO 

·         Travel out of town will be for 8 days at a time

Qualifications

·         Must have an Electrician Certification from the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR)

·         5-10 years experience as an Electrician

·         5-10 years experience in industrial and/or commercial Electrical systems

·         High school diploma or its equivalent; Vocational degree preferred

·         Strong knowledge of electrical functions; Knowledge of electrical equipment and tools; Knowledge of electrical drawings and blueprints

·         Understand electrical repair and replacement decisions

·         Valid California driver's license; company vehicle will be assigned

·         Strong concentration skills - Must be able to work in exposed electrical panels with a high level of concentration

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills; advanced communication skills with all levels of management 

·         Strong time management and interpersonal skills 

·         Proven history of providing outstanding customer service while proactively troubleshooting/problem solving 

·         Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while remaining organized, efficient and flexible 

·         Highly motivated self-starter 

·         Ability to work autonomously/independently yet be an integral part of an overall team environment
