The In-N-Out Burger Business Intelligence team is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst I located in the Irvine, CA office*. This entry-level role is ideal for someone passionate about turning data into actionable insights that support business decisions across the organization.

The Business Intelligence Analyst I will assist with reporting, dashboard development, data validation, and ad hoc analysis while working closely with cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, and a curiosity for data.

*This role is based full time in office

General Responsibilities

Generate recurring reports and maintain dashboards to deliver accurate and timely data to customers.
Extract, clean, and prepare datasets using SQL and related tools to ensure accurate and reliable reporting and analysis.
Conduct predefined analyses to support team initiatives and customer requests, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
Assist in maintaining Tableau Server user accounts, groups, and access permissions to support data security and governance.
Document data queries, sources, and reporting workflows to maintain consistency and improve team efficiency.
Develop a foundational understanding of organizational data structures, tools, and governance practices to support consistent and accurate reporting.

Office Hours in Irvine, CA: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Salary Pay Range: $72,627 - $82,880

Qualifications

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High School diploma or equivalent.
University/college coursework in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields desirable.
Up to 1 year of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
Basic familiarity with business reporting, data analysis, or finance operations.
Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, SQL).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Work Location Details

In-N-Out Burger plans to bring its west coast headquarters team back together under one roof by the end of 2029. After maintaining two Southern California office locations for many years, the company will permanently close its Irvine office in 2029 and once again headquarter the company’s western territory solely in Baldwin Park, California, where the company was founded in 1948.

Newly hired Associates in Irvine will be eligible to participate in the group move to Tennessee with relocation assistance or work from our western headquarters in Baldwin Park, CA, upon its opening in 2029.
