We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Oracle Time and Labor Systems Analyst based in our Irvine, CA location*. This person reports to the HRIS Manager and is responsible for contributing to the development, testing, implementation, and on-going administration of payroll systems, including Oracle Cloud ERP. 

The Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) HRIS Analyst is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and administration of the Oracle Time and Labor module, as part of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The analyst ensures that the OTL system operates efficiently, meets the business requirements of the organization, and supports timekeeping and labor tracking across multiple departments. 

*This position is 100% in office and will be based in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities
  • Payroll Systems Management: Perform system maintenance, assisting in the review, testing, and implementation of payroll systems including, but not limited to, Oracle/ERP systems, Kronos, and reporting tools. 
  • Configure and maintain Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) modules to support business requirements.
  • Develop and modify Fast Formulas to meet complex timekeeping and payroll rules.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. 
  • Maintain payroll system tables, and document process and results. 
  • Configure, develop, and independently manage multiple Oracle modules. Present the solutions to a problem in a logical manager to the supervisor and stakeholders. 
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the impact of a change across the entire landscape of systems. 
  • Write complex reports/queries utilizing appropriate Oracle reporting tools. 
  • Develop standard and custom reports for ongoing customer needs. 
  • Build scorecards and dashboards that present the data in a highly visual, concise, and logical manager.
  • Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data. 
  • Provide production support, including researching and resolving Oracle problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. 
  • Manage projects and process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality. 
  • Optimize payroll systems processes by integrating the software/systems to build a highly integrated and automated set of processes. 
  • Perform audits on payroll processes, documents, and data. Takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and consequences. 
  • Maintain specialization across the Oracle platform through constantly learning new technologies, attending User Group seminars/conferences, Online/In Person/CBT training, books, and journals. 
  • Maintain awareness of current trends in payroll systems management with a focus on product development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. 
  • Continuously increases payroll and payroll systems application/tools knowledge. 
  • Champion process/customer service improvements and innovative solutions. Uses process and technical know-how to obtain appropriate approval prior to implementation. 
  • Conduct trainings, develops user procedures and guidelines. 
  • Trains clients on new processes/functionality, and new system users.

Work Schedule + Benefits

  • Pay Range is $106,600 - $133,200 annualized salary. This represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors. 
  • Office Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field required.
7+ years of configuration and development experience in Oracle. Relevant experience in other ERP systems will also be considered.  
7+ years of experience with Oracle Payroll modules, including Time and Labor. 
Preferred experience with UKG 
Excellent SQL and fast formula skills.
Strong understanding of quantitative/qualitative measurement and data/system design principles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organization skills and attention to details.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with a programming language and PL/SQL preferred.
Excellent project and time management skills.
Proficient with MS Office, MS Excel and other financial software tools. Experience with a Project Management Tool preferred.
