We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Maintenance Technician for our Support Facilities department, based in the Baldwin Park, CA office.  The Support Facilities Maintenance Technician will work in the Support Facilities department, and will report to the Support Facilities Supervisor.

The Support Facilities department is responsible for the building and development of non-restaurant properties for In-N-Out Burger, such as the warehouses, distribution facilities, food plants, maintenance depots, and corporate offices.  This team works closely with other In-N-Out Burger development teams, including Real Estate, Warehouse, Operations, etc., to support the project managers.


General Responsibilities
  • Practice Care and Maintenance of In-N-Out Burger support facilities in accordance with our established standards of excellence follow posted work rules and procedures
  • Possess a broad understanding and background in Facilities Maintenance services
  • Be able to take direction from a supervisor and execute handyman skills and trouble shoot facility maintenance duties
  • Possess strong handyman skills and be able to use most housing, building, and commercial industry hand tools and power tools
  • Perform daily facility checks to determine and schedule necessary repairs or identify renovation projects  
  • Coordinate a timely response to provide outstanding Customer Service for internal service calls through INO Maintenance or qualified vendors
  • Participate in the Coordination of annual Fire/Life/Safety Training
  • Assist in the maintenance of Emergency Operations Center and supplies
  • Ongoing coordination to ensure all compliance regulations and reporting are satisfied
  • Collaborate with other Facility Techs to build consistency and best practices through effective teamwork and communication
  • Certification to work on HVAC equipment is a plus.
  • Demonstrates commitment to quality of service and takes pride in workmanship.
  • Ability to report to work at the prescribed time for each scheduled shift and to fulfil the job requirements for the duration of the shift or until relieved of all duties by a direct supervisor.

  • Compliance with corporate privacy policies and practices to ensure that all company information and data is kept confidential unless specifically authorized for release.

Work Schedule + Benefits
  • Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt 
  • Office Hours in Baldwin Park, CA: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm 
  • Requires field work and travel
  • Travel time: 20% of the work time will be spent in the field and on pre-construction sites; will require occasional overnight travel to states where In-N-Out Burger operates

Qualifications
  • Required: Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to handle refrigerants 
  • Required: Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school 
  • Some electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Carpentry
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Tile setting; Tile contractor experience a plus 
  • Experience working as a Handyman preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation  
  • Self-starter, independent worker, Pride and ownership of work
  • Strong attention to detail and good time management
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Strong verbal and written English language communication skills
