The Support Facilities Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, design, entitlement, and construction of non-store real estate projects, including warehouses, distribution centers, corporate offices, and other support facilities. This entry-level development role provides foundational experience in real estate development, helping coordinate efforts across project teams while gaining hands-on experience in project execution.


Reporting to the Development Department Manager, the Support Facilities APM works closely with Development Project Managers to collaborate with internal teams—Operations, Supply Chain, IT Facilities, Physical Security—and external consultants to ensure projects meet operational needs and company objectives. This role is designed as a stepping stone in the development project management career path within the Support Facilities Development team.

General Responsibilities


  • Track meeting outcomes, schedules, task lists, and coordinate logistics and documentation to support DPMs and internal project teams.
  • Maintain accurate, version-controlled project documentation; draft updates, reports, and organize folders across entitlements, design, construction, and closeout.
  • Gather and manage utility data, environmental reports, site surveys, and consultant inputs; coordinate early layouts and assist with design reviews and code checks.
  • Research zoning, CEQA, and permitting needs; support documentation preparation, track submittals, and maintain records for agency coordination.
  • Log and track budgets, invoices, and purchase orders; assist with reconciliation and identify risks or cost-saving opportunities.
  • Attend site visits and meetings, document construction progress, track milestones and submittals, and support punch list and turnover documentation.
  • Assist with RFPs, proposal reviews, vendor onboarding, contract compliance, and tracking deliverables and timelines for consultants.
  • Perform other work-related duties as required.


Work Schedule + Benefits


Full-time, Exempt

Pay Range is $77,000 - $96,000 Annually

The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.

  • Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
  • Department needs may call for occasional overtime

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, Business or related field (Required)
  • PMP Certification (Preferred)
  • 5-7 Years Project coordination, real estate, construction, or facilities development (Required)
  • Microsoft Office Suites, Asana, DocuSign, Procore (Preferred but not required)
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Possesses the ability to quickly learn and understand the fundamentals of In-N-Out’s Supply Chain infrastructure & applications
