In-N-Out Burger has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Social Media Specialist based in our Irvine, CA location. This position reports to a Marketing Supervisor or Marketing Manager and is primarily responsible for proper coordination of various elements for social marketing, managing social related projects, and executing social media programs and activities; as well as limited support to digital needs for multi-channel campaigns. 
 
*This position is full-time, in-office only.
 
General Responsibilities
  • Responsible for coordinating, project management and facilitating social media; as well as facilitate social creative with key players (creative, foundation team, Company Store team, Operations, etc.)  
  • Responsible for reviewing, tracking, and reporting on various social analytics such as social performance/engagement, audience measurement, conversion, sales generation, acquisition, etc. using Google Analytics and social platform analytics
  • Provide thoughtful insights and identify trends to Company leaders; and use this information to influence the creative for social media and in some cases, digital media and emails. 
  • Monitor, track and, engage across all social touchpoints to ensure that other internal departments are aware of the social analytics and can prepare or provide guidance on customer/media responses.
  • Work with graphic design team or external agency to pitch and develop creative related to social; and manage the social calendars for Company, Foundations, and Company Store. 
  • Act as liaison for the creative (concept to finish) in order to execute social programs and campaigns, to promote new products and promotions; evaluate results and provide insights.
  • Stay ahead of and research social & digital trends to influence how we show up on various social and digital media platforms. 
  • Collaborate and Support junior social marketing associates.

Work Schedule + Benefits
  • Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
  • Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
  • Department needs may call for occasional overtime

  • Pay Range is $33.00-$38.00 per hour 
    The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years' experience in digital marketing and social media; required
  • Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Business Communication or related field; courses should have an emphasis on Marketing, Digital, e-commerce, etc. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Asana, Google Analytics, and Social platforms (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tiktok, reddit, giphy, etc). 
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop) and ESP (email service provider: Mailchimp and/or Klaviyo); required 
  • Website knowledgeable (i.e. HTML, coding logic, set-up, etc.); required 
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and proven ability to take projects from concept development to production
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently to deliver quality work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and be an integral part of an overall team environment 
  • Must be self-motivated, an ongoing learner and committed to staying current on ever changing social technology platforms and trends
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality 
  • For Store associates:
    • Minimum one (1) year tenure with In-N-Out Burger
    • Minimum Level 3
    • No Final Warnings in the last six (6) months and must be in good standing with Management
