We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Automotive Heavy Mechanic Diesel/Reefer currently based in our Baldwin Park, CA facility. *This position will be permanently based in our new 26-acre Chino, CA Warehouse opening in early 2023.

General Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all tractors and trailers.
Perform all duties with pride and craftsmanship and to work well in an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation.
Observing all safety guidelines and maintaining the cleanliness of his or her specific work area.

Work Schedule + Benefits

Full-time- Hourly
The hours for this position are Monday- Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Overtime and holiday availability required.

Qualifications

General knowledge of all diesel tractor, trailer and refrigeration systems
Advanced specialist knowledge of carrier vector units required
Minimum 4 years of heavy automotive diesel mechanic experience or a combination of 2 years job experience and completion of an accredited vocational diesel automotive school certificate.
Excellent communication skills and proven track record of dependability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to achieve company cleanliness standards.
50-pound lifting requirement.
A Valid Class C driver's license is required. Class A driver’s license is preferred.
