Description & Requirements

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Spread Room Operator in our Lancaster, TX warehouse.

General Responsibilities

Manual stacking of cases
Operating packaging equipment to build pallets
Cleaning and sanitation work
Constructing edible product
Other activities as directed by the supervisor

Work Schedule + Benefits

Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
$19.50 per hour
Four (4) 10-hour days; Monday through Thursday, Occasional Overtime
Hours: 6:00am – 4:30pm (Nonproduction Days); 5:00am -3:30pm (Production Days)
Department needs may call for weekend and holiday scheduling

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
A minimum of one (1) year experience working in a meat facility, food processing plant, or similar warehouse experience (preferred)
Forklift certification (preferred)
Must be a self-starter and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management
Represent the company in a positive and professional manner

Physical Demands/Requirements

Ability to withstand prolonged work assignments in temperatures as low as 35 degrees Fahrenheit and stand for up to eight (10) hours on a continuous basis
Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
