The In-N-Out Burger Human Resources team has an excellent opportunity for a Mobility Supervisor, located in the Irvine, CA office*. 

As the Mobility Supervisor you will play a pivotal role in creating a seamless and stress-free experience for our Associates as they transition to new locations. Your leadership and attention to detail will ensure that each relocation is handled with the utmost care, reflecting our commitment to providing exceptional support during a significant life change. By coordinating every aspect of the relocation process, from initial planning to the final move-in, you’ll be directly contributing to our Associates’ peace of mind and their ability to focus on their new roles. *This position is full-time in-office only.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee Relocation Processes: Manage the end-to-end relocation process for Associates, including planning, coordination, and execution of moves.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external relocation vendors. Ensure vendors meet service level agreements and provide quality services.
  • Associate Support: Serve as an escalation point of contact for relocating Associates and their families, offering guidance and support throughout the relocation process. Address any issues or concerns that arise. Serve as primary point of contact for sensitive or complex relocations, including for new markets. 
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure all relocation activities comply with company policies and legal requirements. Keep up to date with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage relocation budgets, ensuring that expenses are tracked and reported accurately and managed appropriately. 
  • Process Improvement: Continuously gather feedback and evaluate the relocation processes and identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and Associate satisfaction.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all relocation activities. Provide regular reports to management on the status of ongoing relocations and any issues encountered.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise a relocation specialist, providing guidance, training, and leadership. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of relocation activities.
  • Associate Communication: Develop and deliver clear communication plans to ensure Associates are well-informed about their relocation process and any associated policies or benefits.

Work Schedule and Benefits
  • Full-time position, Exempt
  • Office Hours in Irvine, CA: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
  • Department needs will call for occasional overtime

  • Salary Pay Range: $104,000-$134,000 annually
  • The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Certification in Global Mobility or Relocation Management preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relocation services, human resources, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role with direct reports. 
  • Familiarity with relocation policies, vendor management, and relevant legal regulations.
  • Knowledge of real estate markets and housing trends preferred
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
