Description & Requirements

We have an excellent opportunity for two full-time Meat Department Maintenance Technician III in our Lancaster, TX Meat Warehouse.  The Maintenance Technician III will be responsible for the preventative maintenance and repairs of machinery in the Meat department for In-N-Out Burger. Currently we have openings on third shift with a starting pay range of $33.86/HR- $39.58/HR DOE. 

General Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical setup, fine tune settings, and troubleshoot VFFS (Vertical form, fill, and seal) equipment
  • Maintain and repair water heaters and CIP equipment
  • Document work orders and preventative maintenance activities
  • Troubleshoot PLC I/O and field devices (Prox sensors, photo eyes, thermocouples)
  • Troubleshoot AC/DC High and low voltage circuits (3 Phase 480/230V and 24V)
  • Troubleshoot servo drives, VFD’s, and AC motors
  • Maintain and repair diaphragm/PD/centrifugal pumps, food processing piping, metal detectors, process tanks, and conveyors

Work Schedule + Benefits:

  • Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt) 
  • Starting Pay Range: $33.86/HR- $39.85/HR per hour DOE

  • Hours: 
    • Third Shift- Sunday – Thursday (10:00PM- 6:30AM)
  • Some overtime as needed
  • 5 days per week 
  • Weekend and holiday availability required

Qualifications:

  • Perform job duties with a heighten level of detail 
  • Proficiency in using a MMS system 
  • Experience within a liquid processing environment, including a solid foundation of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical/Electronic, Welding & Fabrication a plus
  • Basic knowledge of PLC/ plant automation a plus
  • Ability to read Electrical schematics
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings

Physical Demands/Requirements:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs. 
  • Cold working conditions - Ability to withstand prolonged work assignments in temperatures as low as 34 degrees Fahrenheit; Temperature fluctuations in the warehouse  
  • Ability to move freely in and around obstacles common in the meat production room
