We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Meat Department Maintenance Technician in our Lancaster, TX Meat Warehouse.  The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the preventative maintenance and repairs of machinery in the Meat department for In-N-Out Burger. Currently we have an opening on second shift with a starting pay range of $27.92/HR- $36.00/HR DOE

General Responsibilities:

  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits 
  • Complete all assigned work orders including preventative maintenance in a timely manner
  • Responsible for proactively evaluating and maintaining mechanical systems in the Meat department
  • Responsible for maintaining the upkeep and cleanliness of all mechanical rooms
  • Creating work orders for related repairs needed for equipment
  • Willingness to receive training on critical systems such as Ammonia Refrigeration, VFD’s, Metal Detectors, Servo Drives etc.

Work Schedule + Benefits:

  • Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt) 
  • Starting Pay Range: $27.92/HR- $36.00/HR per hour DOE
  • The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.
  • Schedule: Second Shift (1:00PM- 9:30PM)
  • Work Days: Monday- Friday
  • Some overtime as needed
  • 5 days per week

Qualifications:

  • Perform job duties with a heighten level of detail 
  • Knowledge of basic electrical 
  • Basic mechanical knowledge (plumbing) 
  • Basic Industrial and Commercial Construction safety practices
  • Experience with power tools (drill press, sanders, powered cutting tools, various portable drills
  • Ability to read Electrical schematics
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings

Physical Demands/Requirements:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs. 
  • Cold working conditions - Ability to withstand prolonged work assignments in temperatures as low as 34 degrees Fahrenheit; Temperature fluctuations in the warehouse  
  • Ability to move freely in and around obstacles common in the meat production room
