The Inventory Clerk reports to the Category Buyer Supervisor and is responsible for creating purchase orders and maintaining a properly stocked inventory of production parts and supplies. This includes ensuring items are stocked and meet company quality standards, receiving material according to purchase order and conducting inventory counts.

General Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining inventory records of existing and new supplies. This includes using Canopy/Oracle software
  • Reordering/replenishing items to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained, that items are rotated (FIFO) and that inventory is stored in a neat and orderly fashion. Ordering may include routine communication with Production Supervisors to ensure accuracy based on projections
  • Receive and inspect incoming parts, confirming accuracy of orders and shipments received and that they meet company quality standards
  • Ensuring accounting records are maintained and approved timely
  • Research of new supplies/parts will be required along with some assistance from supervisor
  • Administrative duties to include responding to emails, voicemails, and supporting business leaders with inventory related projects
  • Other duties as assigned related to parts management

Work Schedule + Benefits:

  • Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
  • Pay Range: $28.10 to $31.00/hourly DOE
The above represents the expected starting pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors
  • Some overtime as needed
  • 5 days per week: Mon- Fri (6:30am- 3:30pm) (7:00am- 4:00pm)
  • Weekend and holiday availability required

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Two (2) years’ experience in an inventory parts management role
  • Computer literacy must be of intermediate or advanced level required
  • Experience with Oracle/Canopy preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage numerous parts and orders
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent customer services skills and ability to multitask
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
