We have an excellent opportunity for a Full-time Human Resources Generalist based in our Lathrop, CA office*.  The Human Resources Generalist will report to a Regional Human Resources Manager in the Human Resources department.

*This role is based full time in office.

General Responsibilities
  • Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls from Store Associates, Store Management, Support Associates, and, occasionally, the General Public on a wide array of HR topics
  • Assist with general policy and procedure questions and transactions
  • Provide a front-line resource for Associate Relations support including intaking information and writing supporting documents
  • Create general performance management documents and compile reports/data as needed for Operations and Human Resources
  • Other projects and duties as assigned
Work Schedule + Benefits
Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.
Department needs may call for occasional overtime

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or related field
  • HR Certifications are a plus
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ broad based HR experience with employee relations experience preferred
  • Store Associate and/or Management experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience with employee relations and investigating employee concerns
  • Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations and experience translating that knowledge into effective decisions when dealing with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; apply good judgment in decision making
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and strong human relations skills
  • Creative problem solving abilities and outstanding organizational skills
  • Strong computer proficiency; Excellent in MS Office applications
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
