We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic (Experienced level) currently based in our Baldwin Park, CA facility.

*This position will be permanently based in our new 26-acre Chino, CA .

General Responsibilities

• Maintain work orders and keep all paperwork up-to-date (i.e. billing out parts)

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all tractors and trailers. This includes brake jobs, replacing of wheel seals, inspecting and diagnosing charging/starting systems, replacing starters and alternators, replacing various trailer parts (i.e. doors, panels, operators, cables, hinges, rollers/latches, coolant hoses, and thermostats) and flushing the cooling system.

• Diagnose and replace DPF filters, both fuel and DEF dosers.

• Perform all duties with pride and craftsmanship and to work well in an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation.

• Observing all safety guidelines and maintaining the cleanliness of his or her specific work area.

• Full-time- Hourly

• The hours for this position: Sun-Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm

• Overtime and holiday availability required.

• Pay Range is $27.30 - 37.25/hr.

The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.

Qualifications

• 609 certified and basic understanding of air conditioning systems

• Experience with replacing A/C parts (i.e. compressor, filter/dryer, expansion valve, etc.)

• Basic understanding of hydraulic systems and truck after-treatment systems is required

• Able to perform minor lift gate repairs

• Minimum 4-6 years of heavy automotive diesel mechanic experience

• Completion of an accredited vocational diesel automotive school certificate is preferred

• Excellent communication skills and proven track record of dependability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to achieve company cleanliness standards.

• 50-pound lifting requirement.

• A Valid Class C driver's license is required. Class A driver’s license is preferred.
