We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Fundraising Campaign & Events Supervisor based in our Irvine, CA* office.  This Fundraising Supervisor will report to the Fundraising Manager and will be a team member of the Community Engagement Department, which includes the In-N-Out Burger Foundation, Slave 2 Nothing Foundation, Fundraising and Volunteer teams.

The Fundraising Team exists to magnify the impact of In-N-Out Burger on the communities where we live, work and do business. We enable our associates and vendors to live out the third part of the mission statement to make our communities stronger safer and better by inviting them into the work we are doing with their time, treasure and talents. This position is both strategic and tactical, requiring the Fundraising Campaign & Events Supervisor to independently generate strategic insights for portfolio campaigns while maintaining a highly collaborative leadership presence.

*This position is full-time, in-office only

  • Fundraising Supervisor will be responsible for planning, executing, managing, and optimizing end-to-end fundraising through events and campaigns building awareness and relationships with contributors and prospects.  
  • Develop and evolve fundraising campaign strategy, including event timelines, templates and procedures, and execute against it over a 1-3 year time horizon.
  • Assist the Fundraising Manager and Department Head with monthly reporting tasks, annual budget reports, and special projects as necessary

  • Support the Fundraising Manager in coordinating the timely execution of cross-functional projects by ensuring adherence to project scope and specifications, maintaining project progress information, facilitating communication between project team leaders, and bringing project teams together into a cohesive whole. 
  • Partnering closely with internal teams including Marketing & Merchandise, Travel & Events, and both Foundations to define metrics and measure the success of campaigns and events. 
  • Monitors the campaign and event content, collateral and design process in conjunction with Fundraising Manager and senior team and will work with appropriate staff based on scope of projects, other internal departments (Marketing & Merchandise, Travel & Events and Legal), and external contractors as directed.
  • Responsible for assisting Fundraising Specialists with their on-going projects, ensuring strategy aligns with organization’s business needs and project scopes

  • Defines, plans, schedules, and establishes project activities, applying creative and strategic thinking, technical and project management skills to satisfy project requirements including people, resource, timeline, and milestone management
  • Serves as main internal interface on projects, clarifies strategic requirements, explains complex ideas clearly, proactively communicates recommendations, risks, challenges, and solutions while managing expectations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assists in special projects such as recognition opportunities, software and systems implementation, process improvement for colleagues within the department, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Schedule + Benefits
  • Full-time, Exempt 
  • Office Hours in Irvine, CA: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm 
  • Requires field work and travel to events and the Baldwin Park office as needed
  • Travel time: 20% of the work time will be spent in the field and on pre-event sites; will require occasional overnight travel to states where In-N-Out Burger operates

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nonprofit Management or communications preferred, or related degree
  • Must have hands-on fundraising experience, working with fundraising teams, donors, and leading campaigns, events and special projects
  • Willing to take Fundraising/Marketing/Campaign experience in lieu of a degree
  • 6+ years experience working as a communications account/project manager, or Assistant PM, is preferred
  • 4+ years experience in the nonprofit industry
  • 4+ years experience in fundraising/project coordination and familiarity with working events, campaigns and basic fundraising projects
  • 2+ years experience leading cross-functional project teams
  • Will possess a strong work ethic, excellent organization and communication skills, along with the ability to observe safety guidelines and work both autonomously and in a team-oriented atmosphere
