Event Technology Specialist II

We have an excellent opportunity for a full time Event Technology Specialist II in our Irvine, CA office.   This position responsible for leading event registration and technology efforts for various departments at In-N-Out Burger. This includes building and testing complex attendee registration websites, surveys, mobile apps, email communications and other pre-event processes including reporting, along with overseeing the execution of all event websites. They will also lead on-site registration for events including training staff and volunteers, setting up registration equipment, offering customer service and quick decisions for any attendee registration issues that may arise while on site. They will be responsible for researching and proposing technology to support events, continuously evaluating processes and procedures of event technology and registration software, and training and implementing new & existing technology to event planning teams. This position requires knowledge of Cvent (Event Management software) or other similar event focused software.

 

*This position is full-time, in-office only

General Responsibilities

  • Lead event registration through training, reporting, creating or duplicating websites, uploading information, and testing/reviewing, approving and executing all complex registration websites in our registration software
  • Travel to event locations and lead event registration set up, execution, and tear down
  • Assess and update registration processes, propose new systems or technology to support events, and implement with planning teams
  • Create and test apps for events
  • Collaborate with internal teams on their registration or event needs

Work Schedule + Benefits

  • Full-time position, Exempt
  • Pay Range is $77,500-$97,000
  • The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.
  • Office Hours in Irvine, CA: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm 
  • Travel: Approximately 8-10 weeks overnight travel per year and occasional weekend travel needed up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of event registration experience preferred.
  • Cvent certification preferred
  • Knowledge in event registration or ticketing, web design, IT or coding a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Cvent, Communications, and Project Management Software desired
  • Proven history of providing outstanding customer service, strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills. 
  • Ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills, professional communication skills, and ability to be flexible
