The In-N-Out Burger Community Engagement team has an excellent opportunity for a Community Engagement Systems Administrator, located in the Irvine, CA office*.

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and managing the department's technology platforms, ensuring the smooth operation of systems and applications critical to project execution and departmental functions.

Reporting to the Community Engagement Project Manager, the Systems Administrator will collaborate with team members to support project planning and execution while ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of our technology environment.

This position is a team member of the Community Engagement Department, which includes the In-N-Out Burger Foundation, Slave 2 Nothing Foundation, Fundraising, and Volunteer teams.

*This role is based full-time in office only.

General Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison between Community Engagement and IT departments, providing expertise and support for end-users, troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement efforts to optimize technology performance.
Maintain accurate documentation of software systems and procedures to ensure compliance and facilitate knowledge transfer.
Develop change management plans and comprehensive user training programs to promote smooth adoption of new technology solutions.
Coordinate data migration and system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and adherence to timelines.
Lead the implementation of technology solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project scope and deliverables.
Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor technology effectiveness, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Lead the RFP process for selecting new technology solutions, engaging with vendors, and staying informed about industry trends.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions for enhancing departmental efficiency.

Work Schedule and Benefits

Full-time position, Exempt
Office Hours in Irvine, CA: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Department needs will call for occasional overtime

Salary Pay Range: $83,500 - $105,000
The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent preferred.
5+ years’ experience in System Administration, technical project management, or a similar role, ideally in a nonprofit environment.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate across diverse teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to provide technical support, training, and collaborate effectively.
Excellent time management skills.
Project management/systems administration certification is preferred.
Proficiency with systems such as Salesforce, SF Marketing Cloud, Blackbaud, OneCause, MailChimp, Asana, CVent, and Volunteer Hub.

ABOUT the Community Engagement Department

The In-N-Out Burger Foundation was established in 1995 with the goal of raising funds to assist abused and neglected children in the communities where we live and do business.

In 2016, the Slave 2 Nothing Foundation was established to educate and assist in solutions to eliminate human trafficking as well as focus on those needing treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention from drug and alcohol abuse. Our Fundraising Team supports both foundations with small and large-scale fundraising efforts as well as collaborating with Community Impact on volunteer opportunities for our In-N-Out Burger Associates and their families.
