We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Benefits Administrator I based in our Irvine, CA offices. The Benefits Administrator will report into the Benefits Supervisor and as a Benefits Administrator, you will be responsible for planning and administering the day-to-day operations of the company's benefits programs.

Health, Welfare and Retirement Programs:
Administers all employee benefit programs to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, STD, LTD, EAP, FSA, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) retirement plan and other benefit offerings;
Oversees the web based benefit enrollment system and onboarding platform with both internal partners and outside vendors to ensure the sites are accurate and up-to-date; 
Manages online enrollments to ensure timely contribution deductions for paychecks; 
Coordinates with benefit vendors for timely benefits processing, billing and payment of monthly invoices.  Perform periodic audits as needed;
Answers employee questions about benefit plans for active, COBRA or retirees in a timely manner; 
Partners with Plan Administrators, carrier representatives and Insurance Broker to resolve benefit issues;
Participate in Annual Open Enrollment process

Leaves of Absence: 
Administers leave of absences according to state and federal guidelines; 
Communicates with employees and management in a timely manner;
Partners with Human Resources Business Partner group on matters as needed

Work Schedule + Benefits:
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.
Department needs may call for occasional overtime
Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, FSA’s, 401(k)/Profit Sharing Plan, Adoption Assistance, Education Reimbursement, Supplemental Health Plans and Pet Insurance

Education and/or Experience: 
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred. 
Minimum of two (2) years direct group benefits, leave and 401(k) administration experience with multi-site, multi-state locations 
Experience in a fast-paced high volume environment
Other Skills and Abilities: 
Must have ability to develop good working relationships with all levels of Associates, brokers and insurance carriers 
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required along with the ability to effectively communicate plan designs, enrollment process and government regulations to all levels of Associates 
Professional and confidential in all interactions 
Must have excellent customer service skills 
Must be able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, self-directed and possess excellent time management and organizational skills 
Must be flexible, able to reprioritize and respond to changing demands
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding benefit programs, FMLA, CFRA, ADA, COBRA, HIPPA and ACA is required.
